(Keldy White Knight - Brooks) In the showring he
won a Reserve C.C. as a Puppy and then went on to win a total of 5.C.C.'s, 2
BOB's, 1 Gundog Group and 4 Reserve C.C.'s. He was made a dual champion at
3 years 3 months making him the youngest in the breed. It was after that I
decided to retire him from the showring.
Trophies Won By Jax in 1989/1990
In 1989 and 1990 he
won the Geoffrey Sterne Memorial Trophy which his mother Bella had previously
won in 1986. After retirement at 4 yars old he was my companion and rough
shooting dog, his forte being wild pheasants in sugar beet on the Cambridgeshire
Fens. He continued working in the shooting field until 13 years old after
which I put him into final retirement.
Jax seemed to lead a
charmed life - everything seemed so easy to him. I wish I had a kennel full of
dogs of his ability. He died peacefully at the age of 16 years and 1 week.
